Coast of Corsica
We raised our sails and started down the rugged coast of Corsica. This French island has all the charm and amazing landscape. Like the American and French flag, the blue of the ocean is deep and rich. The beaches are white sand. And the tourists that flock to the many resorts are red with sunburns. And like the flag that looks it’s best waving in the summer breeze, this island gets a lot of strong winds. It seems like the wind is either at full force, often so strong we have to seek shelter in the many coves or there is no wind at all. Now if they could just even things out a bit, this would be paradise to sail in.
